Shira is an award-winning film editor with over two decades of experience in fiction and documentary filmmaking.

Since 2005, she has shaped stories through a unique sense of rhythm, structure, and emotional storytelling,an approach influenced by her background as an actress and DJ.
 

She received the Israeli Academy Award for Best Editing for Our Father (dir. Meni Yaesh) and the Best Editing Award at the Haifa International Film Festival for Antenna (dir. Arik Rotstein).

Latest news: Many Waters (dir. Imri Matalon) has received two Israeli Film Academy (Ophir Awards) nominations: Best Actress in a Leading Role for Lihi Kornowski and Best Actor in a Leading Role for Ala Dakka.

Shira is also an experienced music consultant, with credits including music research for the critically acclaimed feature film "Borat" (20th Century Fox).
